The Rosie - Front & Back Connection Harness (for head shy dogs) - NEW
Front and Back Connection Harnesses
Front connection harnesses in general have become very popular in the last few years because they not only take the pressure away from the neck which avoids choking and neck injuries but they actually allow you to turn the dog from the front giving you a lot more control. Puppingtons harnesses have been designed by us to sit high on the body with the front strap not much lower than the collar line in order to limit any movement restriction problems that some less well thought out harnesses can have.
Why did you design the Rosie harness ?
Our Rosie harness is based on our hugely successful Barney harness which is used in dog shelters all over Australia because it is really easy to fit, is durable, comfortable and fits the majority of dog body shapes. The only difference between the Barney and our new Rosie harness is that we have reconfigured the design of the strap that goes on the dogs back to allow an additional buckle so the harness can be fitted without going over the dogs head.
The Rosie Front & Back Connection Harness by Puppingtons
This harness has been designed by Puppingtons in South Australia and is based on our Barney harness which was originally made by us but is now made for us overseas by a tried and trusted manufacturer.
The Rosie Harness by Puppingtons has the following features:
- Made from a supple but strong nylon webbing with a reflective strip down it
- The chest strap sits higher than most of the other front connection harnesses on the market, making them fit better and reducing any restriction to movement.
- We have made the top strap (on the dogs back) non adjustable to avoid the chest strap being lower than necessary.
- The buckle on the top strap allows this harness to be fitted without going over the dog's head.
- It has 2 D rings to take the strain away from the buckle when the lead is attached (the lead should be attached to both D rings at the same time)
- There is a second buckle on the belly strap to make putting the harness on and taking it off super simple
- This harness has a front lead connection point and a back lead connection point giving the owner more flexibility and enabling them to use a double ended harness lead to gain even more control if necessary.
- Sizes XXS and XS have a flat O ring on the front strap instead of a sticking out D ring to give the tiny dogs more space
- Easy to fit and put on and take off
- Puppingtons branded
- Dogs feel comfortable in the harness straight away and a acclimation period is not required
- Non Constriction chest strap (not a martingale front) for more comfort
- Good for shy, nervous or fearful dogs
